Der Mensch als Entdecker

Building on the success of the 'Historic buildings in Germany' series, Deutsche Post has announced a new crypto stamp series, titled "Der Mensch als Entdecker" ("Humankind as Explorer"). The first motif in this new series will depict the "Marianengraben" ("Mariane Trench") and is scheduled for release on 11 June 2026.

The motifs for this series will be created by artificial intelligence (AI).  The booklets are a combination of a real, self-adhesive stamp and its digital image. This digital image is linked to an NFT whose authenticity is guaranteed by blockchain technology. With the purchase, you receive the opportunity and access information to become the owner of a unique, digital collector's item in a blockchain. This means you can also present and collect your crypto stamp digitally.
